Overview

The Role:

You will be responsible for managing shipments from start to finish. Predominantly import sea freight.
You will be responsible for raising new job files, collating shipping documentation, claiming UCNs, classifying cargo to its correct HMRC tariff codes and completing Customs entries. You will then arrange final delivery, all the way through to invoicing the job out.

Essential Criteria:

  • Previous freight forwarding experience
  • Familiar with shipping documentation such as Bills of Lading
  • Good customer services skills
  • Good IT knowledge

Desirable Criteria:

  • Transport experience
  • Customs entry experience

Our client is looking to pay between £30K & 36K for the right candidate, depending on experience.
