Our story so far:
After working for Allport Freight (now EV Cargo Global Forwarding) & Jardine Logistics (now Toll), our founder & director Steve Wyeth started SDW Recruitment in 2002 from an office that resembled a broom cupboard in a building alongside the quay in the Western Docks, Southampton.
In this time, we have seen the transition from advertising a job on a Thursday in the local press & faxing CVs, to the leading online recruitment platforms and cloud-based technology we use today.
Steve continues to lead the team & is committed to ensuring that SDW Recruitment is built on the opposite of all what is not quite right within the recruitment sector. Steve is straight talking, honest and approachable. Steve has a clear passion for all things shipping & logistics, is well connected and known within the sector.
