Senior Customs Specialist

The Role:
As a Senior Customs Expert would need a solid customs background with up-to-date knowledge on all thing Customs related.
You would be responsible for planning, designing, and implementing effective core activities of business requirements & monitor changes in Customs legislation, analyse, document, and provide guidance to the business.
The successful candidate will need to develop and maintain a centralised repository of Customs processes and procedures, handle and respond to Customs investigations. You will need to contribute to the end-to-end project delivery process plus support the business in proving regulatory and customs management.
Essential Criteria:
- Solid Customs background
- Experience in Compliance Procedures
- Good understanding – import / export requirements
- Experience in business analysis.
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
- Ability to work under pressure.
About the Company:
Our client based in Southampton and a leader in their field. They have a supportive management structure with a professional team in place.
Salary & Benefits:
For this position, our client is looking to pay Salary of up to £50k maybe more for the right candidate, depending on experience.
Can be remotely based with one day per week in Southampton office, if candidates reside away from the local area.
