Our client based in Southampton have their own purpose-built modern offices and warehouse, are looking for a new member to join their team who are looking to make a difference and grow with the company, which is expanding rapidly year on year.

The Role:
You will be responsible for collating shipping documentation, claiming UCNs, classifying cargo to its correct HMRC tariff codes and completing Customs entries for cargoes arriving into the UK from China & US.
The majority of entries will be Home Use and ideally you will have experience of using Cargowise, but this certainly not essential.
This is is not your ordinary freight forwarder and if you are looking for a something a little different, perhaps more technology lead dealing with leading online ecommerce retailers, this could be ideal.
Essential Criteria:
- Previous import freight forwarding experience
- Good customer services skills
- Good IT knowledge

Salary & Benefits:
Our client is looking to pay between £28K & 35K for the right candidate, depending on experience.
