Transport Manager
Our client is looking for a Transport Manager to join their extremely busy team in Southampton. This is a great role covering many aspects of transport & marine with a well-established and professional company.
They seek an enthusiastic, determined, and dedicated team player that can drive the group forward.
The Role:
Due to the busy nature of the role and the increase in business an opportunity has become available for a Transport Manager to join the company offering support & guidance whist being hands on with their operations. This position that will include overseeing the coordination and management of all the transport and ensuring timely deliveries and effective route planning, you must be able to negotiate contracts and build on strong relationships to provide qualify transport services. The successful candidate will need to provide strong leadership and management skills and support the transport team and drivers. You will also need to produce weekly report plus drive their division forward plus optimising costs efficiently.
Essential Criteria:
- Transport Management Experience / Strong Leadership Skills
- Good understanding of legal requirements, drivers’ hours
- Excellent Planning Skills
- Analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent geographical knowledge of UK.
- CPC Qualified

Salary & Benefits:
Offering a competitive salary for the right person between £40k – £50k depending on experience for the right candidate
