Export (sea & road) experience is a must for this level.

If so, we have a vacancy that may well be of interest. Our client is a well-established, profitable & well respected specialist freight forwarder, whose core business is more specialist cargo – in the main boats, yachts and all things marine.

The Role:

As a Project Freight Forwarder, you will be responsible for the start to finish process of moving out of gauge & breakbulk cargo. You will be commercially minded, be a natural problem solver and be able to build relationships with customers & suppliers

You will be responsible for negotiating and booking cargo with shipping lines & carriers, liaise closely with other departments, ensuring all project movements are moved on time, safely with the necessary Customs clearance & paperwork in place (outsourced).

Although project cargo experience would be beneficial, more importantly is attitude and willingness to learn. So, as long as you have export forwarding / shipping experience, and that required spark, then we certainly would like to hear from you.

Essential Criteria:

  • Freight forwarding or breakbulk liner experience
  • Commercially minded
  • Excellent communication skills

Salary & Benefits:
