Are you confident managing import sea freight shipments from quotation through to final delivery? If you are looking for a challenging, varied role with a forward thinking, innovative company, this could be the perfect role for you.
The Role:
As a Senior Freight Forwarder, you will be responsible for the start to finish process of moving import shipments but no doubt you’ll get the odd export thrown in too.
Your responsibilities will also include;
- Quoting clients & managing shipments
- Ensuring cargo is Customs cleared using CDS
- Arranging delivery
Essential Criteria:
- Import experience
- Commercially minded
- Excellent communication
About the Company:
This is a position with a local owner managed freight forwarder that is well established and for the right person, you may well be able to grow into a more senior role.
Salary & Benefits:
For the right candidate our client is looking to pay between £32-43k for the right person along with benefits & free parking. Monday to Friday 9-5.30pm
