Port Agent – (Temporary 6 Months Contract)
We are looking to speak to ships agents who are looking to join a friendly team & to work a fair rota, to re-address work / life balance.
The Role:
You will be responsible for the safe arrival & turnaround of vessels of all sizes, conduct the instructions of Ships Masters, Owners, and Principals within the bounds of normal agency practice.
Maintain close working ties with customers and provide advice to management The successful candidate will need to assist in the general management and administration of the Company or department through the prompt and efficient processing of invoices / paperwork etc, plus take appropriate action on any Health & Safety issues reported.
Essential Criteria:
- Full British Driving Licence
- Shipping Experience
- Able to be flexible with working hours, including weekends & Bank Holidays
- Good attention to detail
- A ‘can do’ attitude.
