Are you an experienced Freight Forwarder who manages a small team of people? Are you ready to make your next career move? Are you looking to join a well-established, global freight forwarder with on-going growth plans?
Our client is looking to recruit or a new role of Operations Manager, to assist the Branch Manager in the day-to-day running of the Southampton branch and to lead a team of 5.
This role will be very hands on and you will also be managing shipments for a number of key accounts, from origin to destination, whilst being the go to person for advice, guidance and to resolve any issues.
You will also be tasked with a number of management tasks, to assist the BM and you will have their full support & guidance at all times.
The office has great growth plans, in which they are looking to grow their team.
Ideally you will have CargoWise system experience and be currently working in a Team Leader role with a freight forwarder, handling mainly import ocean shipments, but the branch does offer full multimodal, import & export solutions.

Salary & Benefits:
This company is looking to pay between £35k – £40k for the right candidate, dependant on experience.
