The Role:
You will be responsible for managing shipments from start to finish. Predominantly import sea freight, but you will also have the opportunity to handle export shipments, air & road.
You will be responsible for raising new job files, collating shipping documentation, arranging collections, booking with carriers, ensuring Customs formalities are adhered to and above all provide an experience customer service.
Our client appreciates that candidates may need some training in certain areas they have not covered before, which they are happy to provide.
Essential Criteria:
- Previous freight forwarding experience
- Familiar with shipping documentation such as Bills of Lading
- Good customer services skills
- Good IT knowledge
About the Company:
Our client is a well-established freight forwarder, local in Chandlers Ford End. Hours Monday to Friday, 9-5:30
Salary & Benefits:
Our client is looking to pay a competitive salary for the right candidate in the region of £30K, depending on experience.
