About the Role:

We’re looking for a Customer Services Operator to join a busy depot team in Ipswich. This role sits at the heart of the operation, focused on delivering excellent service while supporting the efficient movement of container transport.
You’ll be handling customer queries, providing updates, and working closely with the traffic team to resolve issues quickly and effectively. It’s a varied and fast-moving position where organisation, communication, and attention to detail are essential.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Acting as the main point of contact for customer queries and requests
  • Providing accurate updates on deliveries, delays, and schedules
  • Liaising closely with the traffic and operations teams
  • Building strong relationships with customers to ensure high service levels
  • Handling issues and resolving queries in a timely, professional manner
  • Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems
  • Supporting the wider team to ensure smooth day-to-day operations
