Business Development – Freight Account Manager

Our client is a well know company that are looking to add to their team in the Hampshire area,  Do you have solid commercial experience gained within the freight industry? Are you confident building new relationships and bringing new business on board?

The Role:

In this role you will have full responsibility for identifying potential customers, approaching & tendering, and bringing new business onboard, whilst managing a sales pipeline. You will be set goals and developing plans for business growth. The successful candidate should have already a portfolio of contacts plus be able to grow the business also. The successful candidate will need to cost and quote for business plus maintain a good network of existing and potential customers.

. Essential Criteria:

  • Previous Freight Management Account Experience
  • Proven sales / commercial background
  • Excellent time management administration and planning skills
  • Full driving licence
  • Good negotiation skills
  • Excellent customer service and IT skills

Salary & Benefits:
