Ships Agent
Are you an experienced ships agent, looking to make your next career move and join a large, well established shipping company with offices nationwide? We are looking to speak to ships agents in Southampton who are looking to join a friendly team & to work a fair rota, to re-address work / life balance. This position is available due to expansion in the company
The Role:
You will be responsible for the safe arrival & turnaround of vessels of all sizes carrying a variety of cargo, dealing with various port authorities, arranging pilotage and berthing space. Managing immigration compliance and dealing with any needs of the ships captain & crew . The client is looking for someone who can hit the ground running but also gaining exposure to new sectors of the shipping industry such as Cruise and Military
Essential Criteria:
- Full British Driving Licence
- Able to be flexible with working hours, including weekends & Bank Holidays
- Good attention to detail
- A ‘can do’ attitude
