Overview
Our client is a well know shipping and forwarding company who are now recruiting for a Junior Sales Manager to join their team
The Role:
As the Junior Sales Manager you will be responsible for develop leads, to help grow the business. You would pass the shipments to the operations team and set up the standard procedures for the future shipments. You must be able to increase the existing customer base as well as identify new opportunities. You will need to be able to cross sell and negotiate commercial terms where required. You must be prepared to travel meeting with prospective clients, there is also the opportunity to travel overseas as the position develops
Essential Criteria:
Previous experience in New Business Sales
Knowledge of Freight Forwarding services
The ability to generate business via cold calling
Excellent Commutation and IT skills

Salary & Benefits:
Our client is looking for pay around £25k for the right person depending on experience, bonus scheme plus a car allowance
