Are you an experienced Freight Forwarder, looking for your next challenge? Are you looking to join a friendly expanding team within a well established privately owned business? This role could be perfect for you.
The Role:
You will be responsible for managing both import & export sea freight & courier shipments, plus also some air freight. This is a real varied role, managing shipments from start to finish and moving absolutely anything from a small courier parcel going to project cargo.
You’ll be fully involved from quotation, making the booking through to final delivery and no 2 days will be the same.
Essential Skills:
- Previous freight forwarding experience
- Good understanding of Customs procedures
- Commercially aware

About the Company:
Our client is a privately-owned independent freight forwarder, specialising in transporting freight all over the globe by air, sea and road. They currently have a team of 40, but are rapidly expanding – so an exciting time to jump on board
Salary & Benefits:
Salary is very much dependant on experience, but for the right candidates at the right level, a salary of between £22 & 27K is certainly achievable along with other benefits such as private health care, profit share and increasing holiday.
