Our client is looking to recruit an service orientated individual to join their helpdesk team, composed of experts in customs, systems and industry; a truly exciting, unique opportunity for the right individual.
This role is initial for a 2 year fixed contract.
A Helpdesk Analyst provides essential first and second line support to over 450 external customers including leading Global shipping lines, ports, express air carriers, freight forwarders, HM Customs and other inspection agencies.
The Helpdesk provides a professional service and is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for all enquiries into the business, offering 1st and 2nd line support to expedite the timely resolution of all customer incidents and service requests.
A flexible approach to work is required as you will be expected to work a rotating shift pattern, incorporating on-call cover to respond to operational queries outside of normal office hours.
– Experience of CNS Compass and / or Destin8
– In-depth knowledge of both Import / Export procedures
– Experience of freight, shipping, cargo or logistics working environments
– IT and computer literacy
– Proven analytical skills and able to make decisions under pressure
– Effective communicator including excellent written and oral communication
– Ability to work as part of a team with a positive attitude
– Ability to drive and own a car
