Freight Account Manager
Our client is a well-established Freight Forwarder that are looking to add to their team in the Hampshire.
Are you confident building new relationships and bringing new business on board?
The Role:
In this role the successful candidate will need to apply your sales expertise and identity new business opportunities. You must have effective communication skills to build and manage relationships with the customers at all levels. The successful candidate will need to cost and quote for business plus maintain a good network of existing and potential customers, you must have also excellent negotiation skills and the ability to work as part of a team. You will also need to have experience in the operational side, a commercial understanding and excellent lead sourcing skills. The successful candidate would need to be a good all rounder and keen to succeed.
Essential Criteria:
- Previous Freight Forwarding Experience
- Proven sales / commercial background
- Experience in Operations and Logistics
- Excellent time management administration and planning skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Full driving licence
- Good negotiation skills
- Excellent customer service and IT skills
About the Company:
Our client is based in the Hampshire area and have offices all over the country.
Salary & Benefits:
Our client is looking to pay a salary of £50k – £70k depending on experience for the right candidate, plus commission-based bonus scheme.
