Overview

Do you have solid commercial experience gained within the freight forwarding industry? Are you confident building new relationships and bringing new business on board? If the answer is yes, then this is a fantastic opportunity with a well-established & ever-expanding global freight forwarder.

The Role:

In this role you will have full autonomy and responsibility for identifying potential customers, approaching & quoting, and ultimately bringing new business onboard, whilst managing a sales pipeline.

Once the pandemic has eased, this will be a client facing role, visiting potential customers, and promoting the company, whilst also attending trade shows and industry events. With this in mind, candidates will be ideally based in Suffolk or Essex. But working from home, location can be flexible.

In this role you will be predominantly selling the companies core export freight forwarding services, so a strong understanding of operations, combined with a sales / commercial background within the sector is a must.

Essential Criteria:

  • Previous export forwarding experience
  • Proven sales / commercial background
  • Full driving licence
  • Good negotiation skills
