Overview
A well-established family run freight forwarder based in Totton is looking to recruit an Export Freight Coordinator to join their expanding team. If you are a self-motivated individual looking to progress your career in a logistics then this could be the role for you.
The Role:
You will be primarily coordinating sea & road export shipments, but will also be involved in coordinating airfreight shipments, plus import & cross trade cargo movements. You will be responsible for booking shipments with carriers, hauliers & airlines, update systems and dealing with shipping paperwork.
Essential Criteria:
- Previous experience of export forwarding / shipping
- Attention to detail
- Good communication skills
- Ability to problem solve
