Chartering Operations

Our client is a Dry Cargo Shipbroker and is looking to recruit a Chartering Operations to join their team. If you have a marine / ships agency background and have a natural flair for organising, with a good attention to detail, this role could be perfect for you.

The Role:

Primarily you will be responsible for the day to day operational function of the Broking and Chartering Department, ensure compliance with legislation and regulations offered by the branch. Manage and promote services offered through the development of new business and management of their key customers. You will support compliance with trading standards and conditions set by the company. Plus return leg freight opportunities and new port of call development

Essential Criteria:

  • Previous experience in Ship Building
  • Industry experience – Freight Forwarding
  • Good attention to detail
  • Full British Driving Licence
  • A ‘can do’ attitude
